Hello all,

CUSEC 2008 is now less than three weeks away!  We have an amazing  
lineup of speakers, sponsors and events planned for this year.  It's  
definitely something you don't want to miss, and we don't say that  
just because we're the chairs!  Just check out what Tim Bray said

This newsletter will cover:

1. Early Bird Pricing Extended
The early bird registration has been extended to January 11, 2008 at  
11:59 PM EST.  Student tickets are $55 before this date and $100  
after.  The professional fee of $150 remains unchanged.  Please  
register through a head delegate (http://2008.cusec.net/en/organizers.php#headdelegates 
) or online (http://2008.cusec.net/en/registration.php).  Note that  
online registrants will receive a PayPal request from Richard Shih  
within 3 business days.

2. Companies Attending CUSEC
CUSEC 2008 is pleased to announce Directly Energy, Concordia  
Engineering, Autodesk, Avanade, Concordia Department of Computer  
Science and Software Engineering as our newest sponsors.  They will be  
joining MANSEF, SAP, TELUS, Evertz, IBM and Scout Design as sponsors  
of CUSEC 2008.  These sponsors will be looking for bright and  
enthusiastic candidates to fill coop, internship and full time  
positions, so remember to bring your CV and visit their booths.

3. DemoCampCUSEC2
Want to demo your project?  We are looking for up to six 15-minute  
presentations.  Please email Julie Hache (elektrophile [at] gmail  
[dot] com) if you want in or have any questions. Don’t be shy!  Want  
to attend?  It’s open to everyone (not just CUSEC attendees) and it’s  
free!  Go ahead and add your name to the list of attendees on the  
DemoCampCUSEC2 wiki http://www.barcamp.org/DemoCampCUSEC2.
