[CUSEC] DemoCampMontreal - Be There or Be Square

Tonight's the night!  The inaugural DemoCampMontreal is being held
tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Society for Arts and Technology in
Montreal.  For those of you who are slow catching up with your email,
tonight is Tuesday February 27th.

There are going to be some cool Demos taking place tonight.

* MediaWiki OpenID extension. Evan Prodromou will talk about his
[MediaWiki OpenID

* Growwwing. Hierry Poitras and Daniel Haran are presenting their
[demo application](http://www.growwwing.com).
* Evonium. Alden Woodward and Kingsley Woodward will demonstrate
Darwin Information Management System.
* EVOLUTION. Raj Vadavia will talk about need for n-tier multi
dimensional dynamic data technology.
* ilovetoplay. Marc Chriqui

For those who have no clue what a DemoCamp is here is the gist of it
in a couple of points:

* five demos are given, no you don't have to demo anything yourself,
you can just come out and enjoy others stressing about their
presentation
* if you don't like a demo you don't have to worry because each demo
is max 15 minutes long - every presentation is abruptly stopped at the
15 minute mark
* you get to see what local talent is up to - come on... you know you
wanna be geek patriotic
* demos consist of everything and anything from someone showing off
how they use vi as their swiss army knife to the next big startup

If you are on the fence and want help being pushed to one side or
another will it make a difference if I tell you that I will be MCing
the event?  I didn't think so :-).

And why didn't I tell you about the event earlier.  Because we both
know it wouldn't of mattered.  We are geeks... we are so last minute.
