*First ever DemoCamp in Montreal*

CUSEC is going to be bringing the first ever DemoCamp to Montreal!

Have a project you want to demo? Want to get feedback or brush up on your
demonstration skills? Make sure to email John at john at kopanas.com to talk to
him about it! We are presently looking for people who want to demo at
DemoCamp CUSEC.

DemoCamp will be a part of CUSEC this year so people who are not from
Montreal but want to demo something should jump at this chance!

*Presentations update*

We have secured our fifth keynote: Dr. Venkat Subramaniam. Check out this

We will have six Academic Presenters at CUSEC 2007: Prof. Debbabi from
Concordia, Prof. Godfrey from U of Waterloo, Prof. Cooperstock from McGill,
Prof. Murphy from UBC , Prof. Lethbridge from U of Ottawa and Prof. Dubé
from Laval.

*Events update*

What are you passionate about? Mobile Devices? Entrepreneurship? Video
Games? User Interfaces? As part of CUSEC 2007, we will be holding a
Mini-Open Space. At this event, everyone will be given an opportunity to
form their own small groups and discuss topics they are passionate about
with others who share their passion. Put on your thinking caps and get ready
to add your heap of creativity to the mix.

What can you build with 4000 magnetix pieces from Megabloks (
http://www.megabloks.com/)? Show us at CUSEC 2007.

Lastly, if you're a big fan of the gaming industry (or not), I know you'll
love the interactive session by Kokoromi.

at the career fair, so you can meet them in person. Don't forget to bring

*Dress code*

Be yourself, be comfortable. The only dress code that will be in effect will
be at one of our social activites in the evening, which will be a formal
event.

*Pictures Contest*

Take lots of pictures at CUSEC 2007 and post them on flickr with the tag
"CUSEC2007". We will be choosing the best picture of CUSEC 2007, and the
winner will receive a free ticket to CUSEC 2008!
